Here is my little tips: There are too many unused files or junk files that cause hard drive malfunction. In this case, you should delete unused programs on the disk C to release more space.
Possibly, there exist so many background programs running in the computer so that there is no enough space to run the main programs. You can use the Start/Search function to find the program and configure it not to run at startup, remove it from Programs/Startup, or delete it from your system.
